The primary role of the Medical Sales Leader is to develop and execute a sales and marketing plan to increase the Waldmann/Derungs medical lighting business in the North American market.
Sales, strategic planning and market development are the key roles of this position. This requires the ability to learn the medical lighting market, the Waldmann/Derungs medical lighting products and our competitor's products.
The Medical Sales Leader must be persuasive and tenacious with approaches and methods that will convince potential customers to do business with Waldmann/Derungs. He/she must develop relationships with new customers, help to set sales targets and provide support that will continually improve customer relationships. The Medical Sales Leader is also required to grow and retain existing accounts by setting sales targets and presenting new solutions and services to clients.
He/she will also work very closely with the Waldmann USA sales team and Product Managers at Derungs Licht AG in Switzerland on new product development for the North American market, and also help determine how existing products can be designed or modified to better suit our customers' needs.
The Medical Sales Leader will focus on existing sales channels and on developing new ones for our medical lighting offering. The Medical Sales Leader is a new and key position which will work with senior level management, marketing and technical teams to help make Waldmann/Derungs the best medical lighting offering in the North American market.
Generate sales in the USA and Canada through predetermined sales channels to GPs, clinics, hospitals, elderly care facilities, veterinarians, etc.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications, a health-related field or any other relevant field of study.
