The Financial Specialist provides support to the Payroll Manager in the day to day operations, monthly and year end closing processes for the Payroll department. Serves as a resource and support to the Finance Operations Representative and Corporate Accountant, Payroll. The position is responsible for account analysis and coordinating system software implementations, conversions and upgrades related to Payroll. Reviews Payroll department procedures, recommends changes to improve efficiency and address problems. Revises and creates new procedures, and trains staff. Oversees the tax payment, reconciliation and reporting process to include tax research.
