The Customer Relations and Support Office is looking for a passionate leader to help grow the next generation of FedLine payments technology. FedLine provides essential payment and informational services to thousands of financial institutions across the United States, and our solutions are designed to be secure and resilient to support approximately $4 trillion/ day in payments transactions.


Job Summary
You will report directly to the VP of FedLine Products and will lead four to six diverse development teams supporting FedLine products. You will promote and implement strategies, practices and new technology that meets the Bank’s needs. You will oversee 4 to 6 direct reports and 30+ indirect reports.


Responsibilities
  • Set a vision for the future by leading the implementation of new technology practices and continuous improvement processes that bring value to the bank.
  • Provide leadership, oversight, coaching and support for the software and data delivery teams to ensure management and staff understand and meet business delivery, financial, productivity, service, security, resiliency and quality goals.
  • Manage multiple product-focused delivery teams using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) ensuring development is coordinated to meet and exceed our goals,
  • Collaborate with peers across the National Federal Reserve system on defining business-inspired and risk-focused application development strategies, platforms and programs.
  • Establish goals and priorities and adjust direction as needed to respond to organizational, technology, and industry changes.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Department, Bank, and System policies, standards, service and quality measures, procedures, and controls to ensure excellent public confidence and operational integrity.
  • Influence IT standardization decisions and strategic programs through this participation and translate relevant activities into concrete action plans for the Bank.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of business, technical, operational, and policy issues within the industry to sustain high levels of ongoing operational quality and expertise

Your Background
  • Bachelor's degree with concentration in computer science, management information systems or comparable technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Advance degree is preferred.
  • 10 years technical experience in one or more areas of information technology or management information systems. Experience should include managing delivery of complex software efforts, programs or technology platforms.
  • Experience leading programs implementing cloud technologies and supporting API-driven product delivery approaches
  • Advanced knowledge of Agile development practices and leading Agile development teams at scale (e.g. SAFe)
  • Lead Inclusively - Leverage diverse talents, positively influence culture and engagement, and encourage development for all employees.
