As the Senior Key Account Manager for Strategic Account you will report to the Director for North America. You will have full ownership and responsibility for the profitability, relationship management and internal strategy relating to assigned hotel accounts. Your primary job function will to drive total account revenue for your portfolio. The role will require you to implement growth strategies, secure competitive rates & inventory access, renew agreements, signing new deals and explore the Expedia Powered Technology opportunity.
Working with the hotel account leadership you will be expected to extract the full business value and positively influence. Revenue growth will be achieved by shifting share to Expedia through a consultative approach and securing preferable access, promoting advertising opportunities, conducting business reviews and understanding the partners requirements. Regular reporting is a requirement.
You will establish internal and external relationships is critical for success in this role. Day to day contact with suppliers is expected to develop positive relationships and gain support and trust. General communication on the status of accounts internally will be required to promote SA and will assist with identifying cross departmental opportunities.
You will design, understand, negotiate and implement creative and complex partner deals. The role requires the coordination and execution of new deals as well as annual contract renewals. Internal education of these deals is also required.
Be a leader and guide a Revenue Manager as a direct report. You are responsible for performance management as well as development planning, maintaining priorities and administration
