  • Translate functional specifications into logical, component-based technical designs.
  • Clearly describe technical requirements and implementation details based on an understanding of business requirements
  • You provide and participate in code reviews to assess overall code quality and flexibility, and the application of good object oriented programming techniques.
  • Drive continuous improvement and continuous delivery in our software development process within an agile development team.
  • Write automated unit, system and acceptance tests as appropriate to support our continuous integration pipelines.
  • You will work closely in a collaborative environment with other hardworking developers both local and in various other Expedia offices around the world to ensure code quality and appropriate testing to ensure excellent product quality.
  • You are able to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Actively mentor peers and other software engineers

If you are:

  • Have released your own personal app or have been part of a team on a major app release.
  • An interest in contributing to deep product design sessions (though you need not be a visual designer).
  • Experience leading teams to successful project launches.
  • Kotlin/Java experience

Preferred Experience:

  • A/B testing, Git & Github
  • Espresso, Roboelectric
  • Jenkins, Fabric
