Finance Internship May/June 2020
We have six different roles with multiple openings in each of the following areas.
Transfer Pricing Analyst Internship: The Transfer Pricing Analyst Intern will work with and support Expedia's Transfer Pricing team and other members of the tax, finance, accounting and legal departments as well as business line professionals on all aspects of developing, implementing, maintaining, testing, and defending Expedia's transfer pricing policies.
Indirect Tax Internship: The indirect tax intern will perform a variety of recurring and non-recurring transaction tax functions including assisting with tax return preparation and related compliance filings for both domestic and foreign jurisdictions. The indirect tax intern will join a team of tax professionals and work under the direction of the Tax Manager. This individual will work in a dynamic tax environment. Areas of focus could include domestic state and local sales tax, Washington business and occupation tax, city/county hotel taxes, VAT and GST filings.
Financial Planning and Analysis Internship: As a key member of the team you will play a critical role in providing insight into financial performance through data-driven analysis, forecasting, reporting of key operational and financial metrics and KPIs. You will also be responsible for distillation of complex financial data into actionable information, managing financial models, analyzing new initiatives, financial planning, and analyzing operational metrics.
Internal Audit Internship: In this global role, the Corporate Audit Services team members are critical to all the brands within Expedia Group. The intern will address compliance, financial, operational, strategic and technology risks in business and technology processes. To be successful, you'll need to be inquisitive and driven to continuously improve and expand your knowledge and skill set. You will be offered the opportunity to learn about the largest online travel company in the world and develop your skill set and leadership qualities.
Accounting Internship: If you are a self-motivated, positive and flexible individual with a focus on accounting then consider joining the Revenue Accounting team. This team is primarily responsible for customer payment and cash accounting worldwide and is located in Seattle, Washington.
Procurement: driving operational excellence within Global Procurement’s Sourcing Operations team. This position will be working with various stakeholders, such as business, legal and finance partners, across varied categories. Typical work will include new procurements or contracts, extensions and renewals of the existing activities, procurement intake triage, promotion and education of the stakeholders on preferred supplier contracts.
