In this role you will be part of Brightstar’s corporate Finance and Accounting team and you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting activities including the recording of journal entries, the reconciliation of general ledger accounts and preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports. This position reports to the Accounting Manager.
- Create and process journal entries in accounting system
- Prepare monthly reconciliation of specific assigned balance sheet and P&L accounts
- Assist in the end-of-month closing procedures
- General ledger analysis of accounts
- Provide information to internal and external auditors
- Perform variance analyses for balance sheet and P&L on quarterly basis
- Assist on special projects as needed
