BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
Reporting to the Ophthalmology Business Unit Head, the EYLEA Market Manager is responsible for the execution of the brand plan and strategies that support the achievement of the objectives for the brand. The Market Manager provides ongoing analysis of the brand and competitive environment to support strategic and business decisions. In addition, the Market Manager will assist in setting the direction for the sales team and work in close partnership with a number of other internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Working in collaboration with the Sr. Market Managers, supporting the brand plans for EYLEA (critical success factors, key strategies, tactical and promotional plans, marketing programs,and budget allocation).
Support the marketing team, EYLEA to lead core and extended cross functional teams
Work cross-functionally with team and other key internal stakeholders to ensure plans and projects are on track to achieve objectives
Determine promotional mix and effectively allocate resources based on opportunities and priorities
Track brand performance to goals
Manage operational aspects of the brand
Bachelor’s degree in Science or Business
Minimum of 3 years industry experience
A strong Customers Focus and ability to Drive Results in a complex market environment
Solid Business Acumen /Insights - ability to perform in-depth analysis, demonstrate sound business judgment and make recommendation based on financial and quantitative skills. Ability to anticipate market opportunities and threats and provide solutions to deal with them.
Planning and Execution – It is essential to be able to establish and manage execution and work efficiently and effectively.
Ability to Collaborate to build effective working relationships with a variety of people
Bilingual (French) an asset
