Manager, Marketing At Bath Fitter

Location: Saint-Eustache, Quebec

Job Description

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for all Bath Fitter Corporate locations. This role will work closely with the Marketing Director on defining Bath Fitter’s brand and media strategy as well as with our creative and media partners. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of an integrated media approach, strong brand building experience and an ability to pull insights from data to optimize performance.

Tasks and Responsabilities

  • Lead the development of local marketing plans and the ongoing performance assessment and optimization of media tactics (online + offline);
  • Develop strong and collaborative working relationships with local branch managers, internal stakeholders, and our external partners to facilitate the development and execution of marketing plans;
  • Apply to understand marketing strategies to lead the development of marketing plans and programs to drive profitable sales growth for Corporate markets;
  • Optimize media plans based on customer insights, analytics, and best practices to drive growth and sales;
  • Lead the briefing process with external and internal partners to develop and execute marketing plans;
  • Own the Corporate marketing budgets, including setting annual budgets, monthly tracking, and year-end accruals;
  • Apply consumer insights, analyze and interpret consumer and marketplace research to inform fact-based decisions relating to strategies and plans and identification and assessment of new opportunities;
  • Coach and develop a team of four direct reports.

Job Requirements

  • University Degree in Business or Commerce, Marketing or equivalent.
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in roles of increasing responsibility.
  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience.
  • Strong analytics background, with the ability to assess media performance and identify insights and learnings.
  • Intimate understanding of online and offline media tactics with experience setting and driving business/marketing/media plans.
  • Experience in managing brand building strategies and working with creative team/agencies with an ability to think creatively.
  • Budget-management skills with Pandamp;L experience.

Demonstrated Skills

  • Solid analytical skills, ability to gather and interpret insights and propose relevant recommendations.
  • Superior communication skills, working with many levels within the organization.
  • Excellent project management skills, ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines.
  • Bilingualism, French and English (written and spoken)
  • Experience with a CRM system or other data-driven system.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
