Senior Brand Manager – Insecticides - (1900924)
Where the Chemistry Happens
The Senior Brand Manager – Insecticides is focused on developing and managing the marketing strategy for the Canadian Insecticide markets (cereals, pulses, oilseeds, horticulture) that results in optimized profitability for BASF. The position is accountable for the Insecticide brand strategy as it relates to the overall crop (all crops) solution campaigns, ensuring the annual product-on-ground (POG) budget/s are achieved.
The position is also responsible for licensing negotiations and supply agreements related to this portfolio as well as the life cycle management responsibility (long range plan and post patent strategies), in addition, the position also provides team leadership on non-portfolio issues like incentive programming and overall market strategies.
Knowledge and Experience:

- BSc in Business/Marketing or Agriculture
- Minimum 8 years in sales and / or a marketing-support role, preferably within the agricultural industry
- Sound understanding of marketing, sales and customer relationship management
- An understanding of growers, distributors and agronomy for the crop protection industry
- Must possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills as well as a proven record of achieving goals
- Strong interpersonal skills including listening, presenting, writing, team work and the ability to lead a team
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel across Canada
