ITSM Technical Lead Consultant At Bart & Associates, Inc.

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Job Description

B&A is currently seeking an ITSM Technical Lead Consultant to join our team on a Commercial Project in Canada!


This is a ~6-month contract. We are ideally looking for contractors.

This position is responsible for the design, development, maintenance, administration, and continuous improvement of enterprise service management solutions in ServiceNow. Primary responsibility is to be a hands-on specialist, analyst, developer and a key resource in developing solutions and applications for the ITSM/ServiceNow system.

The position requires ITSM expertise along with technical knowledge of ServiceNow, and service planning. The Technical Lead should follow industry best practices in building ITSM systems and implementing technical solutions.


Responsibilities shall include:

  • Design, development, maintenance, administration, and continuous improvement of enterprise service management solutions
  • Evaluate and report on new technologies to enhance capabilities of cloud based and virtualized services
  • Drive the continuous improvements of our implementation methodology and service offerings based on client experiences
  • Documents and runs reporting as needed
  • Presents solution options, risk and impacts for process optimizations and revisions
  • Keep current with skills and research the software industry to help pave the way for future development strategies

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of ITSM experience or related workflow development practice and techniques experience
  • Technical expert in ITSM and ServiceNow
  • Experience in the implementation, administration, maintenance and enhancements of ServiceNow
  • Experience developing on the ServiceNow platform including creation and/or customization of the core applications such as Incident, Change, Problem, Service Request, Asset, Discovery, CMDB Management, Portal Development, Event Management, etc.
  • Experience with migration from legacy toolsets
