Digital Marketing Analyst At Barneys New York

Job Description

Celebrating our legacy of modern fashion, creativity, individuality, and intrigue by providing every guest with unparalleled customer experience, we are currently seeking a Digital Marketing Analyst to be based in our New York Corporate Office. This role is in our digital marketing team and will work closely with the digital experience and development teams. This role will report to the Director of Digital Marketing with a dotted line to the Customer Analytics Manager. The candidate must possess hands-on technical skills in data management and the ability to extrapolate data into actionable insights that improve the performance of digital marketing initiatives. Ideal candidates should be detail-oriented, quick thinking, highly organized, and have an interest in fashion. This entry-level role will be responsible for preparing and coordinating the successful execution of digital marketing campaigns.

Responsibility:

  • Conduct day-to-day analysis for marketing initiatives across multiple channels
  • Create and maintain reporting dashboards ranging from high-level summaries to in-depth metric-specific analyses
  • Prepare routine reports, including daily, weekly and monthly performance updates
  • Perform deep dive analysis on customer data, marketing performance and overall business performance to generate insights that would inform marketing strategy
  • Build predictive models to complete long term projects and ad hoc analyses for the greater Marketing Department
  • Support Customer Analytics Manager by researching competitive landscape, user behaviors and long-term trends
  • Develop testing strategies and execute A/B and MVT tests on the site in partnership with the marketing and digital experience teams
  • Work with agencies and internal partners to set up analytics tracking for digital properties and marketing channels
  • Assist in coordinating marketing campaign launches and provide a creative methodology for tests across digital marketing channels

Qualifications:

  • B.A./B.S. degree required, M.B.A or another advanced degree a plus
  • Experience with data-focused marketing and predictive analytics/models preferred
  • Experience with marketing analytics including paid marketing, campaign attribution, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply logical and data-driven thought process to problem-solving
  • Experience utilizing digital ad platforms such as Google Ads
  • Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics. Adobe Analytics skills are a plus
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are a must
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Self-starter and team player
