The designer will research, design, and implement concepts for exhibits to be mounted in the Barnard Archives and Special Collections. The designer will report to the Associate Director of the Archives and will work closely with other stakeholders to ideate, design and install exhibits that highlight the college’s histories with teaching and learning praxis and feminism.Department Library - Archives Reports to Title Associate Director Full or Part Time Part Time Number Of Months 6 Work Schedule

1. Develop an exhibit around Corinth Jackson’s Black @ Barnard research, completed during the Digital Humanities Summer Institute.
2. Continue developing the library’s aesthetic framework for exhibit in collaboration with Milstein advisors and the Library Exhibits Designer.
Knowledge of design software (e.g.. Adobe Creative Suite and/or open source alternatives).
