Description & Responsibilities
Market Data & Trading Software Support Representative will support Barchart's real-time market data and trading software, primarily cmdtyView and cmdtyView Excel. This will include product quality assurance testing and user support, including pre-sales support, user onboarding, technical, product and administrative support. Responsibilities will also include creating software test plans, support documentation and training videos. Occasional travel may be required for large client onboarding.
A successful candidate will be highly motivated and outgoing to deliver exceptional service to clients, work successfully to test and improve the products and become an expert in the products you support. Strong communication, professionalism, troubleshooting, organization and attention to detail skills are a must, as is a good knowledge of the financial markets, market data/trading software and prior technical support experience. Candidates must also demonstrate the skills necessary to comprehensively document software bugs and issues and be able to take charge of support tickets from start through to resolution.
