Aetna Medicare is hiring for a Business Development Manager in Sales to support the organizations achievement of its Sales and revenue targets. You will support the Medicare Sales Team, member retention initiatives and work closely with Sales Management, Broker Managers, direct brokers and providers.
Duties will include planning for membership growth through lead development by identifying and conducting community events, collaborating with Provider partners and seeking larger affinity partnerships to drive leads and sales. Ability to write, develop and execute an on-going winning business plan will be crucial to the roles success. Role is accountable for a direct sales goal. Must have experience in business development with a history of working in the Senior and or Multicultural market preferred. This is a hand- on, roll up your sleeves type opportunity where you will be rewarded by seeing increased sales and market awareness. Background in Business Development within the community driving leads and sales is key to this role's success.
Excellent communication skills Bi-lingual candidates preferred
Based in Northern California - San Francisco or Walnut Creek
Must live in either San Francisco, Alameda or Santa Clara county.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
