AECOM is seeking a Supply Chain Administrator to be based in our Calgary, Alberta location. This is a 6 month contract position.
This position will be reporting to the Subcontracts Specialist to deliver value added opportunities to the business through supplier selection, market place analysis, optimizing and/or consolidating AECOM - O&G Division spends. The successful incumbent will be responsible for continuously improve the performance, efficiency, safety and cost effectiveness of all supply chain activities.
May include the following responsibilities:
+ To ensure all documents relating to supply chain process are retained in accordance with the company's quality requirements
+ Issues Requests for Proposals, evaluates subcontractor proposals and plans, prepares cost and price analyses, risk analyses, and bid analysis summaries.
+ Analyze quotations and contracts and provide with analytical reports, including KPI reports for Supply Chain Management staff.
+ Prepares, compiles, and maintains auditable records of the subcontracting process.
+ Maintains awareness of market conditions to determine future availability of services and pricing probability.
+ Ensure timely completion, compliance with requirements, and appropriateness of invoices and payment are submitted by subcontractors.
+ Manage supplier invoices and documents.
+ Provide administrative support for Direct Services Provider (DSP) database.
+ Additional tasks necessary to support the function of the department.
Conditions of Employment for this position are:
1. 2. Qualified applicants who are offered, and accept, a position must provide evidence of a satisfactory Alcohol & Drug test in accordance with the Company's Alcohol & Drug Policy. In order to be valid, the test must have been conducted at the direction of AECOM - O&G Business Unit.
+ Diploma or Certificate in supply chain, business, engineering, construction management, economics and/or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and related experience.
+ Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
+ Good communication skills - written and verbal
+ Good interpersonal skills, especially ability to be able to communicate externally with suppliers & internally with colleagues
+ Good time management, attention to detail, problem solving, and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
+ Works well under fast-paced work environment and able to handle change in priorities
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office suite - Word, Excel and Outlook
+ Experience in one or more of the areas of purchasing, expediting, transportation and warehousing preferred.
+ Document controls experience is an asset.
+ Ability to use procurement and materials management systems is an asset.
