The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Under direct or general supervision, may complete scientific assignments of limited complexity.
+ May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned scientific personnel.
+ HS + 2 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
+ 3rd year student in pursuit of a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
+ Focus on machine learning, object detection and artificial intelligence
+ Ability to quickly adapt and understand the technical problem
+ Extensive knowledge in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and optimization models
+ Significant interest in utilizing machine learning, artificial intelligence, and optimization models in the field of civil infrastructure
+ Strong knowledge and application of machine learning libraries such as Numpy, Scipy, Sckikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, Pandas, Matplotlib or any others with similar utilization and application in the domain of automation and machine learning.
+ Ability to apply automated post-processing methodologies on images and Regions of Interest to extract information
+ Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply datasets
+ Knowledge in statistical and data mining techniques including Random Forest, Regression, Boosting, Trees, Clustering, etc.
+ Ability to visualize results and data to multiple stakeholders
+ Strong mathematical background
+ Ability to evaluate the model performance and monitor the training process aimed at enhancing accuracy and precision
+ Understanding of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) including implementation and utilization
+ Ability to work with video and image data
+ Ability to work with distributed training in the cloud
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Strong knowledge in coding mainly Python and experience querying databases and utilizing languages including R, SLQ, etc.
+ Although AECOM will provide the required introduction of the problem to describe the anomalies and regions of interest of the successful candidate, a candidate possessing knowledge in civil infrastructure or any similar to the problem statement of the project is preferred.
