AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Architect for employment in the Markham, ON office. As part of the team you will participate in designing transit facilities, transite control centers, bus terminals and depots. Duties may include preparing calculations, drawings, technical memos, design packages, technical reports, analyses and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes. Expectation will include
+ Knowledge of CPTED principles, AODA requirements and CSA B651.
+ Ensuring design conforms with all applicable codes and client standards;
+ Able to work to tight schedules and motivate others to do the same;

BA/BS + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
+ Professional degree in architecture
+ Certification or training in CADD and BIM
+ Certificate for Revit training
+ Previous experience with an architectural or consulting firm;Knowledge of the Ontario Building Code
+ Experience and skills with Revit, Autocad and Microstation software
+ Experience and skills with the Microsoft office suite of programs
+ Experience and skills with Adobe suite of programs
+ Experience and skill with Sketch-up
+ Demonstrated written and verbal English communication skill proficiency with effectively communicating complex design or technical issues;
+ Well organized, self-directed work habits with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and schedule tasks in a dynamic environment.
