Product Manager At Advisr

Location: New York, New York

Job Description

Founded in 2017, Advisr is a NYC-based software startup focused on providing sales organizations with data-powered insights and resources to dramatically improve the quality of local marketing, shorten the sales cycle, and drive revenue.

The Product Manager will report to our Director of Product Management, and will help guide, nurture and lead the development of features for the Advisr platform. They will work closely with Engineering and Sales to gather product requirements, create product specs and wireframes, provide QA feedback to Engineering, and assess post-launch impact.

We are looking for an individual who enjoys working with a fast-paced team, is excited by the challenges of this role, and wants to make his/her mark in this incredibly dynamic market.

RESPONSIBILITIEs:

  • Manage priorities based on the product roadmap

  • Gather requirements from product stakeholders and customers

  • Define new feature requirements and user interface wireframes for engineering as well as working with the UX Designer to implement new UI specifications

  • Work closely with engineering to ensure timely and appropriate delivery

  • Demo new features and fixes to internal and external teams, and provide training when necessary

  • Gather post-launch feedback to assess customer acceptance

QUALIFICATIONs:

  • Product management experience in software development

  • Experience with ad serving, creative development, and workflow software is particularly valuable

  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills

  • Solid understanding of the ad tech space and of internet/web technologies

  • Experience working with an agile engineering team

  • Experience with product development life cycle from concept to ship

  • Extremely well-organized and able to manage multiple project responsibilities with dexterity

  • Technical background with a good mix of business analysis skills

EXPERIENCE:

  • CS/BS/BA degree required

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience

  • Experience working in advertising and the ad tech ecosystem

  • Experience with Product Management tools, such as Balsamiq/Axure, Jira/Redmine, Keynote/PPT
