MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION:
Manage large national banners or wholesalers that bring more than 20 million $ revenue and are key for the success of ADC Canada.
Works closely with National and Regional chain head offices, internal Ascensia stakeholders and external partners in the development and implementation of programs and other activities at the pharmacy level.
Develop strong relationships with trade customers (chains and wholesalers) to position Ascensia diabetes products as the first line choice for people with diabetes; forge a true partnership with these customers that helps meet everyone's objectives.
Responsible for the effective communication of chain programs and activities to all stakeholders for the purpose of informing them and getting their support to help implement with proficiency.
Regularly call on all chain customers ( head office and store level) with formal business and program reviews in an effort to move the business forward by identifying opportunities and planning future programs/activities.
Plan, execute and attend chain driven events such as trade and buying shows, and pharmacy conferences. Responsible for tracking budgets, authorizing and processing invoices and deductions for payment (SAP).

Deliver against annual Ascensia sales targets for individual chains, trade as a whole, and other organizational measures with a strong emphasis on ROI (return on investment).
Building strong, trusting partnerships with key customers in the retail and professional pharmacy distribution channel including retail pharmacy chains, wholesalers and group purchasing organizations. Spend time in field with sales representatives calling on targeted chain store accounts.
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree University Level, preferably in science or business administration ( BComm, MBA).
Must be bilingual in French and English.
Should possess high level of competencies in communication (oral/written), presentation skills, negotiation skills, planning and organization.
Strong knowledge and understanding of the retail Pharmacy market.
Several years covering a sales territory in the healthcare industry , preferable with 2-3 years' experience in diabetes.
Strives to continuously achieve higher levels of individual and organizational performance.
Positive leader within ADC and successfully be in the role for 4 to 5 years.
