Media Manager At 360i

Location: Chicago, Illinois

Job Description

The purpose of this role is to lead the day to day relationship with the client, be responsible for the implementation of strategy, performance of all accounts against KPI’s, maintain adherence to deadlines, and the day to day management and development of the account team

360i is looking for a seasoned Media Manager to join an established team. This role requires expertise in paid search marketing to assist in the development and implementation of media strategies, ability to craft recommendations based on performance insights, and a proven track record with bidding and budget management.

This person must be detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, and able to think outside of the box to solve challenges. The Media Manager is a large contributor to the overall success of the business as they will own the day-to-day management of the account and help train, develop and lead the team towards success. This person must be organized, well-spoken and have leadership qualities as they manage and delegate projects to meet client needs.

In addition to daily managerial responsibilities, the Media Manager will assist with planning and forecasting exercises. They must also demonstrate passion for digital marketing by keeping a pulse on industry news and events in order to identify new and innovative ways to grow our clients’ businesses. The Media Manager will be expected to present weekly and quarterly performance insights in both internal and client-facing settings, so strong analytical skills are required. He or she is expected to develop an expansive knowledge and understanding of the client's business, the competitive set, and industry. They must demonstrate expertise with advanced optimization practices and possess a familiarity with management platforms such as AMO, Kenshoo, Marin and DoubleClick Search. Additionally, the Media Manager will be responsible for building and grooming vendor relationships to enhance efficiencies and create better time management. They must have the ability to troubleshoot, develop recommendations and a go-forward media strategy with minimal oversight from Media Supervisor/Associate Media Director.

The Media Manager position requires collaboration with other Media teams as well as with Account, Analytics and Technology groups. If you are a motivated team player that thrives in fast paced, entrepreneurial environment, this position is perfect for you!

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in search-SEM marketing and PLA's a must; basic understanding of all digital media disciplines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong attention to project management and follow-through
  • Knowledge of 3rd party tracking and ad serving technology related to SEM (DS3, AMO, Kenshoo, Marin, etc)
  • Success executing complex, large scale, fast moving campaigns flawlessly
  • Excellent communications (written/verbal), presentation and analytical skills
  • Proficiency with data analysis, performance trending and campaign insights
  • Expert-level Excel and strong PowerPoint (PPT) skills
  • Management and mentorship of junior team members to meet annual goals
  • At least 1 to 2 years’ experience required
  • Formal training/expertise in paid search a must
  • Excellent communications (written/verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to follow instruction and balance multiple tasks
  • Detail- oriented with strong attention to project management and follow-through
  • Success executing complex, large scale, fast moving campaigns flawlessly
  • Expert-level Excel and strong PowerPoint (PPT) skills
