IT Support Technician At 3|Sixty Secure

As our business evolves and is increasingly reliant on business technology, your role as IT Support Technician is crucial to business continuity and success at 3Sixty Secure Corp. By providing a wide range of technical support to the stakeholders across the company and advising on cyber security issues, you play a key support role to enable our technology and infrastructure.

As the IT Support Technician, you will work directly with end-users to ensure the smooth operation of company technology, configure new IT applications and software where required, and support the IT Specialist on other IT related projected as needed. The application of cyber security will play a key role in your job. You will ensure that industry best practice is followed and 3Sixty systems are secure and security policies are implemented. This is a full time role, Monday to Friday and is based in our Almonte, Ontario Office with travel to our Smiths Falls Facility required on a regular basis.

As our IT Support Technician within Shared Services you will be responsible for the following:

• Front line tech support for all 3Sixty Secure Corp employees, maintaining a ticketing system with Soti
• Set up and issue of all Company technology to 3Sixty Secure Corp employees including the set up of new users on software applications
• Running regular checks on our network to ensure optimal data security, network access and backup systems
• Asset management - actively tracking the fleet of IT technology across the organization
• Assistance with the maintenance of the Company Microsoft SharePoint site, as required
• Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
• Facilitating the smooth operation of our computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines; supervising the implementation and maintenance of our Company's computing needs
• Conducting regular system audits and making recommendations where necessary
• Participating in budgeting activities to ensure cost effectiveness where applicable
• Determining the rationale and methods for upgrading company network software programs each time an update is released
• Leading transition activities to new IT and telecom systems as needed
• Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guidelines for the organization
• Keeping management and internal clients updated on progress related to IT projects

Required skills

• Completion of post secondary education, College or University, in Information Technology
• In-depth knowledge of Office 365 (one drive, Outlook)
• Good working experience of end-user IT support and knowledge of IT systems (PC, Android, Mac)
• Good understanding of IT operating systems (mac and pc) with respect to establishing and installing security software, patches, and configuring computers for all users
• Strong related skills, proven professional experience and a detailed knowledge of industry's best practice processes
• Good knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
• Strong interpersonal skills and comfort dealing with all levels of organization including peers, Managers and key stakeholders
