Job Description:
Seeking a strong developer to build the next generation of our client's e-Pharmacy API. Our client is in the pharmacy business and patient confidentiality is exceedingly important. If you have the technical chops, attention to detail, understand the challenges of scaling and will go out of your way to protect confidential information then we want to talk to you.
- 6 month contract to start
- Option of working in office (Toronto) and our client embraces remote working in Canada / U.S.
Skills & Deliverables
- Build the next generation of an e-Pharmacy API
- 5 years or more experience with technologies and concepts including:
- Node.js
- MongoDB
- Service Oriented Architecture and serverless architecture
- Docker
- Numerous Amazon Web Services or competitive equivalent
- Auth/WebAuthn
- Security best practices
- Compliance and auditing
- Our client's work environment is based on:
- Swagger/OpenAPI
- Git
- Slack
- Azure DevOps and Pipelines
- Google App Suite
- Work closely with a small but highly motivated and passionate team
- Research technical issues and provide recommendations to enhance products
- Responsible for the full lifecycle of the API product including development, unit testing, system testing, deployment and DevOps
- Demonstrated capacity at multitasking with multiple projects and shifting priorities
- Must have a Git / bitbucket and up to date resume to apply
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $80.00 to $90.00 /hour
Experience:
- MongoDB: 2 years (Required)
- Docker: 1 year (Required)
- Node.js: 2 years (Required)
- development / programming: 5 years (Required)
- Swagger/Open API: 1 year (Required)
- Service Oriented Architecture and serverless architecture: 1 year (Preferred)
Language:
- Fluent english (both written & verbal) (Required)
