About This Opportunity
We are in search of a Staff Accountant to assist our Controller with various data entry, accounting and A/P responsibilities including invoicing and vendor reconciliation. This position will be up to 40 hours initially and located in Eden Prairie at our headquarters and distribution center. The successful candidate will possess an accounting degree and strong attention to detail.
Key Functions, Responsibilities and Tasks:
-Reconcile bank statements and credit card charges
-POS drawer posting maintenance
-Maintenance of prepaid and accrual accounts
-Sales and payroll tax reporting and maintenance
-Enter all OEM, supplier and expense invoices
-Check run procedures
-Primary contact for vendor issues
-Vendor record data maintenance
-General journal entries
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
-Proficient in PC skills including Microsoft Excel
-High level of discretion and confidentiality
-Ability to manage multiple priorities, work as part of a team, yet be self-motivated
-Work well under pressure to meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
