Writes and tests JavaScript, HTML & CSS code as well as related documentation, either while working on new features for a Web application or when debugging the code base. Uses source code editors to write Web applications as well as a version control system to record changes in the code base and allow multiple developers to interact with the same files at the same time. Improves the existing build system generating the binaries of Web applications. Creates specification sheets and actionable tickets for its fellow developers when working on a new Web application following the requirements handed over by product designers. Researches and selects libraries that meet the requirements of new Web applications, and if none is found, develops the functionality as described in the specification sheets. Act as technical lead as needed. Meets with product designers to review new features for existing or new Web applications.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a closely related field.
