The Role:

We are expanding our Bookkeeping Services Department to accommodate the needs of our clients. We support a growing number of small businesses across the US and pride ourselves on getting to know our clients and their business. Our team helps business owners focus on the passion they have for their business while we help them with their finances creating a collaborative effort to help their business thrive. We are eager to hire a seasoned bookkeeper who has experience working with multiple clients in a Business Services environment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with client to obtain supporting documents
• Maintain accurate ledgers by coding transactions to appropriate accounts
• Monthly Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations
• General chart of accounts management
• Preparing monthly financial statements
• Processing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable tasks
• Managing a portfolio of clients with various levels of complexity
• Ability to stay on course to meet deadlines and client needs, including reporting
• Experience with closing entries both quarterly and yearly

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years recent and relevant full charge bookkeeping experience in the U.S.
• Extremely organized and able to multi-task with various clients
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
• Diverse industry experience with small & medium size businesses
• Motivated self-starter with strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office Applications
• Proven ability to remain confidential
• Experience working in a CPA Firm is preferred
• Interest in learning and exploring new technologies
